Rehabilitation Centre
The Rehabilitation Centre is our future project and the biggest project we decided to start so far. It will give us the possibility, to combine all our wanted goals at one place:
A place where we can show young new work - opportunities for their life in workshops
A place which can become a new home for children in need
A place where we can have a call centre to assist abused people
A place where we can ensure good education
A place with access to clean water and sanitary
A place where you always feel welcome
There are lots of young people in Ghana, who do not know what they want to become in their future. Neither politicians nor schools are able to change something that’s why we want to try to do our part for them and show them new work aspects. Furthermore the new premises give us the opportunity to educate the people with regard to HIV/ Aids, child- abuse, family- planning and everything that can improve the way of living in our society. Although we already have the foster care in Berekum New Biadan we want to create a bigger place, where we enable more children a place to live.
What we need is support, people, who join us and money. Our dreams and hopes can become true with your help.
Current Project:
FL Faith Child Foundation is a small organization which takes care of orphans and assists foster children within the Berekum Municipal Assembly. So far the organization has achieved in its work by setting up an orphanage to host orphans, needy and street children in the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana.
In 2012 the organization built a school in a small village called Asawinso. The purpose of this school was to provide free education to all children within the area. From kindergarden to junior highschool all children would recieve free education. But unfortunantly, the school was recently robbed and all material (desks, chairs, pencils, books, etc) were lost.
Due to this incident the school has had to shut down and all children who were attending have had to put their education on hold. The organization would like to rebuild this school immediately in a safer area for these children. It is unfair that any child should have to stop their education due to such incidences.
Please give a helping hand in allowing these young learners to continue to their studies and become good leaders of society. Any donations are much appreciated.

SCHOOL
Erica Memorial International School was established in 2012 in the Western Region, Essakrom. This is the second project of FL Faith Child Foundation in coloration with Erica’s Helping Angels. There was only a building – complex, but no books, tables, benches or even teachers. Erica’s Helping Angels came in to help by donating money to start operating the school. Thanks to Erica’s Helping Angels for their help. Thanks also go to Felix’s brother, Richard, who is part of the administrators of the school. He is the one who runs the project and the development of the school.
The idea of establishing a private school came to Felix’s mind when he came to Essakrom for the first time. He recognized that there are not enough good possibilities for the children’s education. It became his wish to change something. He contacted the community and they in return gave him the land with the building – complex, because he wanted to support such an effort by bringing the school project in the community. He got the facility in 2011.
The school gives children whose parents can’t afford expensive private school- fees the chance to learn for as low costs as possible.
Erica’s Helping Angels are the sponsors of the Erica Memorial International School. They help the school to grow fast and hopefully to grow big soon.
In 2013 the school will be closed by the end of the academic year 2012/13 and is planned to be re-established in Berekum for the academic year 2013/14.
Past Project:
Water for the People for Essakrom
There are still lots of villages in Ghana which do not have a direct access to clean water. In case of sponsoring we encourage the construction of wells and boreholes in other communities, as we already did in cooperation with Erica’s Helping Angels. With their support FL Faith Child Foundation built a water pump system in 2011 which was the first project in the Western – Region, Essakrom.
Actually Felix went to the community to visit some children who had stayed in the foster family before. When he arrived he recognized that the water - access for the people of Essakrom was poor. He contacted Becka Birman to write for grant, she then told Erica’s Helping Angels about the project and they decided to help. They send Philip Joseph Gallagher to Essakrom to supervise the water project. The community received a pump for pumping water from the borehole. After this the water could be stored in a poly tank with four different taps attached. It was that Becka Birman handled and supervised all the purchasing and the planning of the project!
Since then the community has easily and constantly got access to water. The costs were not high if you consider that the whole community has got water now: only 2000 Dollar were used to provide all the people of the community with clean water!
Project
FOSTER CARE
The Foster Care started in 2009 with five children. The aim was to support children in need because there are a lot of children in the society who are neglected with regard to social and parental care. In Ghana it is very common to have many children this causes the parents inability to care for their children properly.
HIV/ AIDS AWARENESS
HIV/Aids and in general STD/ STI are phenomenal in Ghana. These diseases affect infected children as well as non–infected ones. We organise campaigns against it to protect and educate people on the diseases. We together with Frank organize speeches for schools, communities and individuals.
